Texas Military Wives Hotel!


Is it a bad sign that when I'm home alone I look up Texas real estate, knowing I may not get back there anytime soon (if the economy doesn't improve)? 

Really, I just get more depressed, but I spend hours looking at houses...just wishing I still lived there!

For those that call it "home" like the ad above says...I HATE you!

Clearly, this post is making me angry and jealous...I need to stop coveting
I am going to buy this house and make it a military wives house. This will be for all of us who just want to move back home to Texas but our damn husbands keep moving us around. We can stay here for as long as we want and the guys can come visit. Then when we miss them too much to be away, we will leave and another Texas loving military spouse will move in! Like a military wives hotel!....How Perfecto!

    Ouuuu i wish i lived there too!! i get so sad looking at texas real estate sometimes and realizing i can't even get an APARTMENT in north jersey for what i could buy a mansion in texas... it's nuts! needless to say we have our house in texas. and maybe one day we can finally get a condo or something up here!

    Um, those house are incredible. Also, I would totally come stay at the mil-wives hotel. I don't care if TX is like a foreign country to me, it's part of the adventure!

    Ooooo!! Even though my heart is set on the state of South Carolina, if you buy that house i will be more than willing to live in the military wives hotel in Texas :-)

    Hi! Just came across your blog, but I saw this post and have to agree. My husband and I are both Texans and we can't wait to get back there when our commitment is up - another 8 years from now, but who's counting?
