And We Are Off!

Well ladies, the time has come for me to execute this fabulous surprise for the love of my life. Mr. Marine will be the big 3-0 on Sat so I am taking him on a little getaway that will be all about him! I still can't say what it is because he is a HUGE snoopster and I have been keeping this under wraps for months so I can't blow it now.

If I get a chance tonight, I will write a scheduled post wishing him a Happy Birthday on Sat but I'm not making any promises. There's a ton to do before we leave tomorrow so I am running around like a chicken with my head cut off...

But for now, I will leave you with one of my favorite pics of Mr. Marine and myself. This was taken at a UGA football game 4 years ago but it was our first real "date" even though I had to fly in from Houston (long way for a girl to travel for a date, huh?)

College football season is about to kick-off which means two things: 1) I lose my husband; 2) There will be plenty of beer consumed, food eaten, and parties thrown!
